Meanwhile, I like Robert Samuelson\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2005\/04\/21\/AR2005042101009.html \">prescription<\/a> that includes Medicare.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Raise eligibility ages, trim Social Security benefits for wealthier retirees, make the elderly pay more of Medicare&#8217;s costs. Americans should work longer to reflect longer life expectancies. Even so, taxes will have to rise.
