(No, in the preview, Kilgore doesn\u2019t speak.)  But if I want to see the entire ad, I need to donate to the campaign.   That\u2019s an approach I hadn\u2019t seen before.<\/p>\n<p>Gee, if I don\u2019t contribute does that mean I won\u2019t see it on my TV?  And does it mean I need to pay to hear him speak?<\/p>\n<p>Maybe.  I notice that all the events on the <a href=\"http:\/\/jerrykilgore.com\/contents\/events\/\">Kilgore web site<\/a> are fundraisers, as in &#8220;don&#8217;t come unless you write a check.&#8221;  Kaine, on the other hand, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fredericksburg.com\/News\/FLS\/2005\/052005\/05132005\/1764499\">gets coverage today<\/a> for his town hall meetings, which unlike GWB&#8217;s staged events, apparently anyone can come to and ask questions.<\/p>\n<p>There may be a lack of substance to both campaigns, but at least Kaine is willing to be grilled by the public.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m awaiting a call back from the Kilgore campign to let me know of any planned, free town hall meeting-type events.
