Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.), was interviewed last night on the Rachel Maddow Show.&#160; (I\u2019m having trouble with the embed code, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/26315908\/vp\/29886298#29886298 \">so here\u2019s the link.<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Who were the prescient eight who voted against deregulation?&#160; Some are not surprising, and they were not all Democrats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Richard Shelby (R-Ala.)<\/li>\n<li>Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.)<\/li>\n<li>Tom Harkin (D-Ia.)<\/li>\n<li>Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.)<\/li>\n<li>Paul Wellstone (D-Minn.)<\/li>\n<li>Richard Bryan (D-Nev.)<\/li>\n<li>Russ Feingold (D-Wisc.)<\/li>\n<li>and Dorgan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But more important, who were among the supporters of deregulation?<\/p>\n<p>Sens.
