Most of the coverage was positive early in his career but not always since then.  The most encouraging thing I read in the story is that Lou Dubose, former editor of The Texas Observer and author of books disparaging of Bush (the Observer has been one of the few a constant critics), is now co-writing another one \u2013 about Tom Delay.  <\/p>\n<p>But then again, finding something critical to say about Tom Delay is like shooting fish in a barrel.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Columbia Journalism Review has an article about how the Texas media has covered Dubya since his days as governor.
