The paper thought her first column had a &#8220;basic weaknesses in clarity and readability that we found unacceptable.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Makes me wonder if the USA Today editors had bothered to read anything by Coulter before they hired her.<\/p>\n<p>Here is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.humaneventsonline.com\/article.php?id=4610 \">Ann Coulter\u2019s commentary on the dust-up<\/a> and the original column.  Note how she refers to herself in the third person.
