For more than 25 years, Griendling Communications helped companies, entrepreneurs and organizations in both private enterprises and public service communicate effectively to gain attention and recognition with their customers, industry analysts and the media.
While I’m still interested in limited engagements to develop strategy, create messages and launch plans for communicating unique or intriguing ideas and ventures in a variety of industries, including music, sports, politics and wherever my interests coincide with society’s risk takers, my focus is changing.
I’m concentrating on more personal writing, some of which I will share in newspaper columns, magazine articles and on my personal blog. I started blogging in 2004 and at the time Commonwealth Commonsense concentrated on the state politics of Virginia, where I lived for more than 20 years. Observations about journalism began to dominate my writing to the point where I launched a separate blog called News Commonsense. The archives of those blogs will be consolidated on my current blog, bobgriendling.com, where I discuss a variety of topics.I invite you to join the conversation.
I also write a bicycling column for the Tampa Bay Times.
