For more than 25 years, I helped companies, entrepreneurs and organizations in both private enterprises and public service communicate effectively. My company, Griendling Communications, enabled them to gain attention and recognition in the media, often for emerging technologies.
Now my focus is changing. I’m interested in more limited engagements to develop strategy, create messages and launch plans for communicating ideas and ventures in a variety of industries, including music, sports, politics and wherever my interests coincide with society’s risk takers.
I’m also concentrating on more personal writing, some of which I will share in newspaper columns, magazine articles and on my personal blog. I started blogging in 2004 and at the time Commonwealth Commonsense concentrated on the state politics of Virginia, where I lived for more than 20 years. Observations about national politics and journalism began to dominate my writing to the point where I launched a separate blog called News Commonsense.
